NASA spots crater on the moon created by SpaceX rocket crash
NASA's Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter has imaged the crater left by a SpaceX Falcon 9 upper stage that crashed into the moon on Aug. 5. The impact, which occurred near Einstein Crater at about 5,400 mph, created a crater roughly 60 feet wide and less than 10 feet deep, according to NASA officials.
