Slow-motion big ship lift operation thrills spectators in Hobart
Onlookers gathered along Hobart's River Derwent to watch the slow-motion loading of the world's largest battery-electric ferry, Hull 096, onto the heavy-lift vessel MV Black Marlin. The multi-day operation, which involved more than 30 people, is described as one of the most complex maritime undertakings in Tasmania's history. The ferry, destined for South America, is expected to depart on a 40-day voyage.
