Senator sees roots of Europeans' silence about Ukraine in their position on Baltic States
In an interview with TASS, Russian Senator Konstantin Kosachev argued that Europe's current silence on Ukraine stems from its decision to overlook human rights violations in the Baltic states during their EU accession. He also criticized Europe for abandoning its values, while a Russian diplomat at the OSCE claimed that European elites are erasing references to Kiev's violations of Russian-speaking Ukrainians' rights from public discourse.
