FIFA, Infantino, to examine 64-team World Cup for 2030 tournament

FIFA President Gianni Infantino says the possibility of expanding the men's World Cup to 64 teams will be examined after the 2026 tournament. The first 48-team World Cup, held across the US, Canada, and Mexico, has been hailed by Infantino as a success, with teams from every continent scoring and nine of ten African teams reaching the knockout stage. The 2030 edition, co-hosted by Spain, Portugal, and Morocco, could feature 64 teams if the proposal moves forward.

Kiev’s drone supplier Helsing makes its UAVs at secret plant in south Germany — NYT

German defense company Helsing manufactures its HX-2 combat drones at a secret factory in southern Germany, which has delivered thousands of units to Ukraine since late 2024.
