Nazi-Looted Portrait Found in Home of Dutch SS Collaborator’s Family
A painting looted by the Nazis from the Goudstikker collection has been discovered in the home of descendants of Hendrik Seyffardt, a prominent Dutch SS collaborator. Art detective Arthur Brand was approached by a family member who wanted the artwork returned to the original heirs. Lawyers for the Goudstikker heirs have confirmed the painting was stolen and are seeking restitution.
