Zaid Darbar marked wife Gauahar Khan's birthday on Sunday with a display of flowers and a cake-cutting ceremony, sharing several glimpses of the celebration on his official Instagram handle. In one photo, Zaid is seen presenting Gauahar with a rose, while a video captures her cutting her birthday cake surrounded by a sea of flowers. The 'Bigg Boss 7' winner also fed a piece of cake to her husband as part of the special day.

Wishing his wife on her birthday, Zaid wrote on the photo-sharing platform: "Happy birthday, wifey! Life with you is a little crazy... but a lot of fun, and somehow I’m still the lucky one (sic)." The heartfelt message drew an appreciative response from Gauahar, who commented, "What a set up !!! Good job Jaanu . Allahumma baarik." She followed with a second comment, simply saying, "Wow rhyme !!!!"
The Couple's Journey
The couple, who married on December 25, 2020, in a grand nikah ceremony, have two sons, Zehaan and Farwaan. Their love story, which has often been described as serendipitous, was revisited during their appearance on the celebrity talk show 'Rashami Ke Dil Se Dil Tak' last December.
On the show, Gauahar revealed that before meeting Zaid, she had given up on men entirely. When actress Rashami Desai asked if she had any preferences for the kind of man she wanted to marry, Gauahar replied, "I had no such thing. In fact, when I met Zaid, I was completely averse to men. I was like, 'I don't want to meet men, they are all commitment phobic. They all want to run away.' I was ready to be vulnerable in a relationship, and most men were not."
She went on to explain that she was in a phase of her life where she had left everything to God. "I said a prayer, please send me any good man, if it is meant for me, I will take it from you, and believe you me, uske ek mahine baad hi we bumped into each other, and he was the one who messaged me," she added, describing how they met just a month after her prayer.
