The Directorate of Medical Education has released the West Bengal National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, Undergraduate (WB NEET UG) 2026 round 1 seat allotment result. Candidates who appeared for the counselling process can now check their allotment status on the official website in.

According to the official notice, the result is for all candidates seeking admission to MBBS and BDS programmes in West Bengal. Candidates allotted a seat in round 1 must report to their allotted college and complete the admission process between September 1 and September 5, 2026.

The seat allotment admission window at every MBBS and BDS college will be operational between 10 am and 4 pm, as per server time. Candidates have been advised to carry original documents, required college fees and bond while reporting.

Reporting and Document Verification

As per the official notice, candidates will first have to undergo physical document verification at their allotted colleges. Only after successful re-verification will their admission be finalised. Candidates allotted seats in private medical colleges must complete the admission process at designated government medical colleges in Kolkata. Those allotted seats in private dental colleges will report to Dr R Ahmed Dental College. Candidates should check the official website for the detailed venue notice before visiting the reporting centre.

The round 1 allotment is prepared based on NEET UG rank, course and college preferences, and reservation category. The allotment of a seat does not complete the admission process; physical reporting is mandatory.
