US Publishes Names and Photos of 10 Nigerians on ICE Deportation List
The United States Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has released the names and photographs of 10 Nigerian nationals currently held in immigration detention facilities across five states, according to multiple reports. The individuals are listed on the DHS's 'Worst of the Worst' register, which highlights immigrants arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) over alleged criminal offences.
The list, published on the DHS official website, includes individuals facing charges that range from wire fraud and identity theft to drug offences, weapons possession, assault, and crimes involving children.
The 10 Individuals and Their Charges

- Temitope Bashua – Wire fraud, identity theft and fraud – Allenwood, Pennsylvania
- Ojehoro Lewis – Cruelty toward a child – Conroe, Texas
- Osemudiamen Kingsley Oziegbe – Wire fraud – Louisville, Kentucky
- Daniel Oworen – Dangerous drugs – Conroe, Texas
- Raymond H. Ekevwo – Wire fraud – Oxford, Wisconsin
- Franklin Dikeocha – Sex offence against a child (fondling) – Dallas, Texas
- Johnson Ogunlana – Fraud and identity theft – White Deer, Pennsylvania
- Chukwuemeka Okorocha – Wire fraud, dangerous drugs, possession of a weapon, and aggravated assault involving a non-family gun – Allenwood, Pennsylvania
- Tunde Korede – Conspiracy – Allenwood, Pennsylvania
- Chukwuemeka Chinye – Larceny from a banking-type institution, fraud, larceny, identity theft and conspiracy – Pollock, Louisiana
The detainees are spread across Pennsylvania, Texas, Louisiana, Kentucky, and Wisconsin, with the largest number held in Pennsylvania.
DHS Statement and Policy Context
According to Daily Post Nigeria, the DHS said the register was created to highlight what it described as the 'worst of worst criminal aliens' arrested by ICE. The department also stated: "Under DHS leadership, the hardworking men and women of DHS and ICE are fulfilling President Trump's promise and carrying out mass deportations – starting with the worst of the worst – including the illegal aliens you see here."
Sahara Reporters quoted Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin as saying: "Every day, the patriots of ICE are working to target the worst of the worst criminal illegal aliens from our country. Just yesterday, ICE arrested murderers, pedophiles, kidnappers, and other violent criminals to make America safe again." Mullin added: "Under President Trump's leadership, there will be no safe haven for illegal aliens, including in sanctuary cities which put illegal aliens over their own citizens. We will never apologise for arresting and deporting illegal aliens, because that's how we protect American lives."
