According to figures from the trade tracking website Sacnilk, the film collected approximately ₹23 crore net in India on Day 5 (Sunday) across 16,241 shows, taking its total India net collection to around ₹214.10 crore. This marks an 8.5% drop from the previous day's collection of ₹25.15 crore.
The film, which opened with a staggering ₹101.10 crore net on Day 1, has since seen a natural correction in its daily earnings. Day 2 brought ₹37.65 crore, Day 3 ₹27.20 crore, and Day 4 ₹25.15 crore, as reported by multiple sources. According to Sacnilk, "Toxic" recorded an India gross collection of approximately ₹7.45 crore across 13,400 shows — a steep 67.6% drop from the previous day's ₹23 crore. The Free Press Journal reported that Hindi contributed the highest share with ₹4.40 crore, followed by Kannada at ₹2 crore, Telugu at ₹68 lakh, Tamil at ₹30 lakh, and Malayalam at approximately ₹7 lakh.
With the Day 6 earnings, the film's total India gross collection reached ₹264.80 crore, while its India net collection stood at ₹221.55 crore, as per the same report. Overseas, the film added approximately ₹2 crore on Day 6, taking its overseas gross total to ₹39.25 crore.
Despite the drop, the film's worldwide gross collection has now reached ₹304.05 crore, pushing it past the ₹300-crore mark. However, Hindustan Times noted that "at this rate, it may be tough for the film to cross the ₹300-crore mark by the end of its run" — a statement that appears contradictory, given the film has already crossed that milestone. The outlet also reported that the film's overseas performance was "average," with "Toxic" earning just over $2 million overseas on its first day and a little over $4 million internationally in its first six days.
