As the January transfer window enters its final hours, Tottenham Hotspur are shaping up for a busy period of incomings and outgoings. According to reports, the club has agreed a deal in principle to sign Everton winger Iliman Ndiaye, with Richarlison set to move in the opposite direction in a separate arrangement rather than a straight swap, as reported by Sports Mole. The Evening Standard also reports that Spurs remain in talks with Everton over Ndiaye, with the club still working on bringing in another attacker before the deadline.
Ndiaye is understood to have attracted interest from Arsenal as well, with the Gunners reportedly making late contact over his situation despite Tottenham's agreement already being in place, posing a potential late hijack threat, according to Sports Mole.
Richarlison and the Outgoing Requests
Richarlison, who scored 53 goals in his first spell at Everton, is set to return to the club as part of the negotiations. The Brazilian's departure from Tottenham follows manager Roberto De Zerbi's confirmation that the forward, along with Pape Sarr and Kevin Danso, has asked to leave.
Speaking over the weekend, De Zerbi said of Richarlison: "He said too many times [that] he wants to leave." He added: "Danso came to me two days ago, and he said he wants to leave, and Pape Sarr, the same, but he suffer[ed] a small injury, but he is almost ready to train."
The Italian made clear that any player wanting to depart before the deadline would be allowed to do so, provided a suitable solution is found. "I love these players, they are great guys, I have very good relationships, but if they want to leave, they have to bring the solution, the economic solution, to the club, and they can go, and we find other players," he said.
Everton, meanwhile, are working on a deal to bring Richarlison back to Goodison Park, as reported by the Evening Standard.
Sarr's Move to Juventus
Midfielder Pape Sarr is reportedly close to a loan move to Juventus. According to the Evening Standard, Spurs have struck a deal with the Italian club to loan Sarr, with a 7million option to buy at the end of the season. Sports Mole, meanwhile, understands that Sarr has reached personal terms with Juventus over a proposed loan move, with the two clubs still negotiating the structure of a permanent obligation.
Danso's Sunderland Interest
Defender Kevin Danso has attracted loan interest from Sunderland, as reported by the Evening Standard. According to Sports Mole, the proposed exit is back on after Tottenham reopened talks having initially rejected the Black Cats' opening offer. Sunderland are believed to be pushing for a permanent deal for the Austrian, who has featured in the EFL Cup but not yet in the Premier League this season.
Souza and Moore Loans
The Evening Standard reports that left-back Souza is heading to Porto on a loan deal until the end of the season. Sports Mole adds that the move is set to be a season-long loan, with Tottenham continuing to cover his wages until his scheduled return next June.
