TDP MLA hosts youth outreach in Hyderabad

Andhra Pradesh TDP MLA Bhuma Akhila Priya hosted an outreach programme in Hyderabad on Sunday to involve young tech professionals from her constituency in grassroots governance. The event, called 'Ask Akhila', brought together over 150 IT employees, young professionals, and students hailing from the Allagadda constituency.

According to a press release issued on Monday, the session was described as a major outreach initiative to actively involve educated youth and tech professionals in grassroots governance. The interactive forum served as a collaborative platform for participants to share innovative ideas and actionable roadmaps for the overall development of Allagadda.

Key discussions and proposals

Key discussions centred on exploring the establishment of mini-IT hubs, BPO units, and MSME enterprises to generate local employment in the constituency, which is located in the Nandyala district. Akhila Priya also discussed upgrading urban infrastructure, modernising drainage systems, and developing recreational public parks across her constituency.

Several tech professionals volunteered to partner with the local administration to spearhead digital literacy, technical skill training, and youth mentorship programmes in the region, the MLA said. She assured the participants that their proposals, industrial concepts, and policy suggestions would be actively pursued with state government departments.

Reaffirming her commitment to turn the participants' ideas into state-backed developmental projects, the MLA thanked all attendees for their participation and dedication toward the future of Allagadda.

The event was reported by Deccan Chronicle and ThePrint, both carrying similar accounts based on the press release and statements from the MLA's office.
