The Philadelphia 76ers have signed Tacko Fall, Jameer Nelson , and Saint Thomas to contracts ahead of training camp later this month, the team announced Tuesday. All three players are on Exhibit 10 deals, a source familiar with the agreements told ESPN's Dave McMenamin.
Exhibit 10 contracts are one-year, non-guaranteed deals that allow teams to bring players to training camp and can be converted into two-way contracts. The contracts also allow players to receive a bonus of up to $85,000 if they sign with the team's G League affiliate, the Delaware Blue Coats.
Fall, the 7-foot-6 center, last played in the NBA during the 2021-22 season with the Cleveland Cavaliers. He spent two seasons with the Boston Celtics before that, and has most recently played for the Ningbo Rockets of the Chinese Basketball Association. He also participated in the NBA All-Star Friday Night Celebrity Game last February in Los Angeles.
Nelson is the son of Jameer Nelson, the former NBA player who currently serves as the executive vice president of basketball operations for the 76ers. The younger Nelson averaged 18.9 points on 47.5% shooting with 3.4 assists and 1.2 steals in 25 games for the G League's Stockton Kings last season. He previously attended training camps with the San Antonio Spurs and the Sacramento Kings.
Thomas, a 6-foot-7 wing, was a member of the Delaware Blue Coats last season, averaging 12.5 points on 46.6% shooting with 5.0 rebounds and 3.7 assists. He also attended Philadelphia's training camp last season.
All three players have two-way eligibility remaining, and the 76ers currently have one open two-way contract spot. The team's roster is otherwise set with 14 players under contract for next season; they plan to enter the season at that number and decide later whether to add a 15th player.
