Adrenaline-Filled Antics

Sydney Sweeney is channelling her inner action star. In a video posted on Instagram on Monday, the 'Euphoria' actress strapped herself to the top of a plane and held on as it soared through the sky, performing dramatic turns and rolls. At one point, the aircraft flipped upside down, sending Sweeney momentarily inverted—a scene straight out of a Mission: Impossible movie.

Sweeney appeared to poke fun at her cinematic inspiration of the moment. Her caption read "Decided to strap myself to a plane and go upside down 🙃," and she added a playful message directed at Tom Cruise: "Watch out Tom Cruise." The nod references Cruise's wing-walking sequence in 2025's Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning, in which the actor performed aerial stunts on a Stearman biplane at around 140 mph.

A Summer of Adventure

Sweeney's latest feat is part of a summer full of adrenaline-filled activities. As reported by TMZ, the actress has been making the most of her time with boyfriend Scooter Braun, including a tandem bungee jump in New Zealand that had the pair plunging off a towering cliff. The News International also highlights a trip to Australia and New Zealand that included bungee jumping, helicopter rides, and speedboats.

More recently, Sweeney and Braun were spotted in Mallorca, and Sweeney channeled Wonder Woman during her 'Camp '26' festivities.
