Admissions Open for 2027-28

Symbiosis Institute of Digital & Telecom Management (SIDTM), Pune, has announced the commencement of admissions for the academic year 2027-28 through the Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) 2026. As reported by both ANI and The Tribune, SNAP registrations are already underway, and management aspirants can now apply to the institute.

Programme and Specialisations

SIDTM offers its flagship M.B.A. in Digital & Telecom Management (D&TM) across three specialisations: Systems & Finance, Marketing & Finance, and AI & Analytics. The curriculum is shaped around industries requiring digital and AI transformation, combining business strategy with technology leadership.

Candidates from any recognised university with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) are eligible to apply. Those holding foreign degrees must provide an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

SNAP Examination Details

SNAP is the common computer-based entrance test for management programmes at Symbiosis International (Deemed University). Candidates can appear on multiple scheduled dates, and the best score is considered for admission, followed by SIDTM's institute-specific selection process. The Tribune noted that SNAP applications are open and candidates can apply through the official portal.

Director's Statement

"The current era demands management professionals who are equally fluent in business strategy, digital technology and knowledge of AI in business transformations," said Dr. CA. Abhijit Chirputkar, Director of SIDTM. "At SIDTM, our curriculum and pedagogy are designed to instil this balance, enabling our graduates to deliver impactful, commercially viable solutions across industries. As SNAP registrations open, we look forward to welcoming aspiring managers and leaders who are ready to lead India's digital and telecom growth story."

Industry Exposure and Collaborations

The Tribune adds that SIDTM has established state-of-the-art sponsored labs in collaboration with leading companies including CISCO, IBM, AWS, UiPath, and IDS. These labs provide students hands-on experience in networking, analytics, cloud management, robotic process automation, blockchain, AI, IoT, and cybersecurity. Additionally, students have access to global certifications to enhance employability, and the institute reports a consistent record of excellent placements.

Telecom Sector Growth Outlook

The Tribune also notes that India's telecom sector is poised for significant growth, with government policy aiming to nearly double annual investment to ₹1 trillion by 2030, which is expected to create around 10 lakh new jobs. Such sectoral developments align with the programme's focus.
