Parents at a school in the Cotswolds have reportedly been sent a privacy warning as Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet prepare to start classes, according to multiple reports. The Sussex family has recently relocated from the United States to Britain and is understood to be staying in a non-royal residence in the Cotswolds, where the children are set to begin the new school year.
Royal commentator Kinsey Schofield, speaking to Page Six, said school officials contacted residents in the area about new rules concerning high-profile students. Schofield quoted the message sent to families: "The message sent to families essentially said that, from time to time, some families joining the school may attract a greater level of public or media interest."
The communication also reportedly emphasized that schools are committed to ensuring all pupils can experience their education in "a safe, happy, and private environment." Schofield further revealed that the message "reminded parents and carers not to photograph or film other children without permission, or share photographs, information or details about pupils or their families on social media."
The school in question has not been named, and the precise whereabouts of the property or the schools attended by the children have not been disclosed for security reasons.
Sussex Family's Move and School Selection
Harry and Meghan have lived in Montecito, California, with their children, Archie, 7, and Lilibet, 5, since stepping back from royal duties in 2020. Their return to the UK is anticipated to be for "an extended period" only.
Schofield, host of the Kinsey Schofield Unfiltered podcast, said a source claimed the Sussexes had considered several schools before deciding to relocate to Britain. The royal commentator said she had learned from a source that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex "approached multiple schools" ahead of their relocation.
The family is understood to have arrived in Britain by private jet in late August, the BBC reported. Reports have suggested the move could provide acting opportunities for Meghan and help the couple rebuild their public profile away from intense scrutiny.

Sources previously told Page Six that Harry wanted his children to spend more time near their grandfather, King Charles, who revealed his cancer diagnosis in 2024. The duke is also understood to be keen for Archie and Lilibet to develop closer relationships with other royal family members.
The Sussexes have reportedly been house-hunting in the Cotswolds, which is near Highgrove House, the country residence of Charles and Camilla. The Cotswolds is about a two-hour drive from Windsor, where Prince William and Catherine, Princess of Wales, live with Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
