The San Francisco Giants will send 2026 first-round pick Jackson Flora to Single-A San Jose, where he is expected to make his professional debut on Friday against the Fresno Grizzlies, according to reports from The Mercury News and Santa Rosa Press Democrat, citing a source familiar with the plan.

A source told The Mercury News and Santa Rosa Press Democrat that the Giants will likely limit Flora to an inning or two in his first appearance, a precaution after the right-hander threw a career-high 102 innings in his final season at the University of California, Santa Barbara.
