His knock ensured the Lucknow Falcons posted a competitive 174/7 in their 20 overs.

For the Kashi Rudras, Atal Bihari Vipin Rai was the pick of the seamers, returning figures of 3/38, while Sharma delivered an economical spell of 2/17.

The Chase and Rain Intervention

Chasing 175 for victory, the Kashi Rudras suffered a disastrous start, with Lucknow pacer Akshu Bajwa bowling a devastating spell with the new ball that tore through the Kashi top order, leaving them reeling at 17/3. Bajwa's burst included the wicket of skipper Karan Sharma, who fell for a golden duck.

Impact Player Uvaish Ahmed provided brief resistance with a quickfire 29 off 17 balls, but his counter-attack was cut short by Vipraj Nigam. Lucknow captain Bhuvneshwar Kumar also removed Upendra Yadav as the Rudras struggled at 104/5 in 14 overs when heavy rain interrupted play. The stoppage proved terminal, with the DLS par score finding Kashi 14 runs short of the requirement.
