Incident at Hempstead Valley Shopping Centre

A man in his 30s has died following a medical incident at Hempstead Valley Shopping Centre near Gillingham, Kent. Emergency services were called to the scene on Sunday morning, and the man was confirmed dead at the location.

Kent Police were alerted by the South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb) at approximately 11:06am on Sunday 30 August. Officers and paramedics attended the scene, where the man was pronounced deceased. His next of kin has been informed.

A Kent Police spokesperson said: "Kent Police was called by South East Coast Ambulance Service at 11.06am on Sunday 30 August, to a medical incident at the Hempstead Valley Shopping Centre near Gillingham. Officers and paramedics attended the scene where a man in his 30s was confirmed to be deceased. His next of kin is aware. The death is not being treated as suspicious and a report will be completed for the coroner."

A SECAmb spokesperson said: "SECAmb were called at approx. 11:05 on Sunday 30 August to reports of a person in need of medical attention near Hempstead Valley shopping centre in Gillingham. Multiple crews attended the scene, however sadly a man in his 30s was confirmed to be deceased."

The death is not being treated as suspicious, and a report will be prepared for the coroner, according to Kent Police.
