Netflix Reveals First Trailer for Call My Agent! The Movie

Netflix has released the first official trailer for Call My Agent! The Movie, ahead of its launch on September 10 in France. The film is a sequel to the acclaimed French comedy-drama series that ran for four seasons on France 2 from 2015 to 2020 and is currently available to stream on Netflix.

Directed by Emilie Noblet from a screenplay by Fanny Herrero and Lison Daniel, the film brings back Camille Cottin as former talent agent Andréa. Now on the verge of directing her first feature, Andréa’s plans are thrown into disarray when her lead actor quits on the eve of production to take a role in a Wes Anderson film. This setback leads to a falling-out with her producer and a series of escalating problems, including a full recasting, on-set disasters, and a legal battle over custody of her daughter.

In a desperate move, Andréa teams up with Noémie, played by Laure Calamy, who has become a successful reality TV producer. Andréa believes she can easily manipulate Noémie, but the partnership only adds to the chaos as everything begins to unravel.

The trailer features returning cast members Thibault de Montalembert, Grégory Montel, Nicolas Maury, and Liliane Rovère, along with a guest appearance by Laurent Lafitte. Additional returning actors include Ophélia Kolb and Fanny Sidney. New additions to the cast include Laetitia Casta, Vincent Macaigne, and Anne Marivin.

According to a separate report, the film opens five years after the closure of ASK Agency, with Andréa attempting to direct her first feature. This account also mentions that Eva Longoria appears briefly in the teaser and that George Clooney is expected to guest star, though neither of these details was included in the trailer description provided by Netflix.
