Expansion of National Geographic Signature with G Adventures

National Geographic Signature with G Adventures is continuing to grow, adding 17 new itineraries in response to what the company describes as growing demand for travel that combines rare access, expert insight, and meaningful connections with local communities. The latest additions bring the total number of trips to 67 across 48 destinations, according to TravelPress.

Yves Marceau, VP Product at G Adventures, said the overwhelmingly positive response to the collaboration has shown that travellers are looking for trips that align strongly with their values. "They still expect outstanding service and comfort, but increasingly they're looking for experiences that broaden their perspective," he said. "Signature speaks to a generation of travellers who want to return home with a richer understanding of the world."

Each Signature departure includes National Geographic Expedition Experts, who are leaders in fields such as photography, conservation, wildlife biology, and history, offering behind-the-scenes insights. Every trip is also led by a National Geographic Expedition Leader, whose local knowledge and storytelling bring each destination to life, as reported by TravelPress.

New Itineraries and Signature Moments

A sample of the new trips includes Kenya's Wildlife & Cultural Heritage, New Zealand's Milford Sound & Māori Culture, Rwanda's Primate Kingdoms, Sri Lanka's Highlands, Yala & Galle, Iceland's Winterscapes, Golden Circle & Northern Lights, and Ecuador's Amazon Rainforest & Andean Highlands. Additional destinations in this release include India, Botswana, southern Africa, East Africa, and the United States, according to TravelPress.

Central to the collection are "Signature Moments" — once-in-a-lifetime experiences created exclusively for these expeditions. These include exploring Norway's Fjord Centre alongside a curator and cooking with a world-renowned chef in Morocco, as noted by TravelPress. Another Signature Moment highlighted by Travelweek is a private guided meditation in a Kyoto temple, followed by lunch with the community.

All National Geographic Signature with G Adventures trips can be viewed online, according to TravelPress.

The 10-Year Partnership and a First-Hand Experience in Morocco

The collaboration between G Adventures and National Geographic Expeditions has evolved into a new 10-year partnership, revealed on World Tourism Day at the 2025 GX Summit in Amman, Jordan, by G Adventures founder Bruce Poon Tip, as reported by Travelweek.

Travelweek's author travelled to Morocco for a sneak peek of the collaboration, describing a seamless arrival experience with VIP treatment from the airport. "When we started thinking about this new product, we first asked, 'what would make it better than what's out there?'" said Yves Marceau. "But for Signature, we wanted white glove service, from the time you come off the plane, to the time you check in at the airport."

David Green, VP Customer Sales and Operations and Managing Director, Canada, told Travelweek that the product opens the door to a highly lucrative market for Canadian travel agents. He noted that the product's positioning could attract a new segment of clients seeking premium, purpose-driven travel.

During the three-day Moroccan experience, the author visited the Bahia Palace and Medersa Ben Youssef, had tea at Maison 1112—a restored riad—with host Tareq and his sisters, and dined at El Fassia, a female-owned and operated restaurant. The group also visited Zarbiat Achbarou, a women-founded weavers co-op founded by Samira Driwich. The Marrakech medina tour was guided by Zuhair, a chief storyteller who practices Hikayat storytelling, while National Geographic Expedition Leader Brahim Aztat and National Geographic Expert Khadija Amahal led the overall experience.

The author also participated in the G For Good Trees For Days initiative, which grows a tree for each day a traveller is on a Signature Expedition. According to Travelweek, G Adventures has grown more than 6 million trees through its Tree For Days initiative.

Agent Resources

Travel agents can access a range of resources to support selling the collection, including a training module in the Agent Backpack, a monthly 'In the Loop' webinar, the Agents of Change Facebook community, and G Luxury(ish) webinars, as outlined by Travelweek.
