Crystal Murphey, from the United States, took to Instagram to share footage after her teenage son Brett came home from school to find an angry note stuck with superglue to the driver's side window of his car. The note read: "You are impeding emergency vehicles. This is not an overflow parking lot for high school students! Suggest you park elsewhere."

Brett said the parking was arranged. He explained that before the school term began, he went around local streets to find somewhere suitable to leave his car each day. After being turned away by several residents who did not want anyone parking on their driveways, one woman specifically invited him to park on the road directly outside her home, even pointing out the exact spot. Brett said he parked perfectly, not on a mailbox, turn, or fire hydrant, and wide enough for emergency vehicles.

Crystal was 'utterly speechless' upon seeing the note, and in the video she said, "I'm in shock. This is superglued on." She acknowledged that she understands residents' irritation but argued that supergluing a note is not acceptable. She expressed her disbelief at the extreme method of attaching the note, which can damage the car window.
