Cleaning influencer's budget favourite

Mrs Hinch, whose real name is Sophie Hinchliffe, has shared the £2.50 cleaning spray she relies on to keep her kitchen sink and windows sparkling. The mum-of-three, who has 4.8 million followers on Instagram, recently posted a carousel of images and footage to her account featuring her children, dogs, and farm animals, with one slide showing her cleaning routine.

In the video, Ms Hinchliffe uses the product — Flash Cleaning Spray with Bleach — on her sink, draining board, taps, sink mats, and kitchen windows. She sprays it liberally on surfaces before wiping them down with a cloth, and uses a narrow duster to remove dust from the window area.

Product details and price

The spray is widely available in supermarkets and generally costs around £2.50, though prices may vary with promotions and discounts. According to the product description on Tesco's website, it "cuts grease" and is "perfect for cleaning almost any hard surface in your home", leaving a "100% streak-free shine".

Who is Mrs Hinch?

Sophie Hinchliffe launched her Instagram account in March 2018, sharing cleaning tips and product recommendations. Within two years she had gained two million followers, and she now has nearly five million. She has since released books, homeware, and cleaning products, and has worked with Maybelline. In March 2021, The Guardian named her podcast with husband Jamie, "All the Best (and Worst) with Mr and Mrs Hinch", as its podcast of the week.

In her recent post, Ms Hinchliffe marked the end of August with a caption: "Goodbye, August. Hello, September." She wrote: "Goodbye, August. Thank you for the memories, the lessons, the celebrations. September, let's go!"
