A Popular Comeback

Jacob's Mini Cheddars has brought back two limited-edition flavours, Cheese Pizza and Cheeseburger, four years after they were last available. The flavours originally appeared as limited-edition releases in June 2022, and are now back on shelves for a limited period, as reported by uk and The Sun.

The Cheese Pizza flavour is designed to capture the taste of a cheesy slice of pizza, combining the brand's familiar crunchy texture with a pizza-inspired seasoning. The Cheeseburger flavour takes inspiration from the classic fast-food item, aiming to recreate burger-style flavours in Mini Cheddars' signature bite-sized pieces.

The new varieties are available in six-packs.

Reason for the Return

Pladis UK&I, which owns Jacob's Mini Cheddars, is behind the reintroduction. Leighton Wall, marketing director for savoury at Pladis UK&I, told Better Retailing: "By launching limited-edition cheesy street food-inspired NPD, we're aiming to accelerate this and unlock new sales opportunities for our retail customers, particularly around the lunchtime treat occasion – whether shoppers are elevating an at-home lunch or grabbing an individual packet to enjoy a moment of cheeky, cheesy pleasure on the move."

A spokeswoman for B&M confirmed the new flavours are now available in store for a limited period.

The Mini Cheddars range has expanded over the years beyond its original cheese flavour, including cheese & onion, smoky BBQ, and cheese & pickle.

Shoppers React

Shoppers have been discussing the new flavours on social media. One person posted on Facebook: "These are banging." Another added: "These look so tasty." A further comment read: "Oooh, got to try these," and one customer wrote: "A whole bag of cheese pizza just for me."

Snack fans hoping to try the returning flavours will need to act fast, as the Cheese Pizza and Cheeseburger varieties are only available for a limited time.
