AC Milan Secure Omari Hutchinson on Loan
AC Milan have signed Omari Hutchinson on loan from Nottingham Forest until the end of the season, with an option to make the move permanent at the end of the campaign. The seven-time European champions announced the arrival of the 23-year-old forward, who will wear the number 20 shirt for the Rossoneri this season.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the deal involves a €3.5 million loan fee and a €50 million option to buy. The Italian club are said to have been cautious with their spending following the departure of Rafael Leao, opting for Hutchinson rather than a more expensive signing.
Hutchinson's move to Milan comes a year after he joined Nottingham Forest from Ipswich Town in a deal reported at £37.5 million (€43 million). At Ipswich, he impressed in the Championship during the 2023/2024 season, recording 10 goals and 6 assists as the club secured promotion to the Premier League.
In the top flight, Hutchinson's output was more modest, with 4 goals and 9 assists in 63 appearances. Last season at Nottingham Forest, he made only 17 Premier League starts under four different managers.

Hutchinson came through the ranks at Chelsea before moving to Arsenal, where he signed his first professional contract in 2020. He returned to Stamford Bridge in 2022 and made two appearances for the Blues before joining Ipswich on loan in 2023. On the international stage, Hutchinson was part of the England Under-21 side that won the UEFA European Under-21 Championship in 2025.
