Prize Claim Procedures

The Michigan Lottery states that all authorized retailers can redeem prizes up to $600. For prizes between $600 and $99,999.99, winners may claim by mail or in person at a regional office; mailing requires a completed ticket receipt form, a signed winning ticket, and copies of government-issued photo ID and Social Security card. Prizes over $100,000 must be claimed in person at the Michigan Lottery Headquarters in Lansing, with an appointment scheduled by calling the Lottery Player Relations office at 844-887-6836, option 2.

The Hoosier Lottery outlines that prizes of $599 or less can be claimed at any authorized retailer. Claims for prizes between $600 and $49,999 can be made in person at a regional office or by mail to the Hoosier Lottery Headquarters in Indianapolis. Prizes of $50,000 or more require in-person claims at the headquarters.
