Man City agree fee for Palmeiras winger Allan Elias
Manchester City have reached an agreement with Palmeiras for the transfer of Brazilian winger Allan Elias, according to multiple reports, as the Premier League club moves to replace Savinho, who is set to join Tottenham Hotspur.
The Independent reported that City will pay an initial €37.5m for the 22-year-old, with a potential further €2.5m in add-ons. Sports Mole, citing journalist Fabrizio Romano, reported the fee as €40m (£34.2m) plus add-ons, describing the deal with Romano's trademark 'here we go'. Manchester Evening News reported that Palmeiras are holding out for their desired fee, noting that Allan has a €100m release clause but City hope to pay less than half of that.
Allan started for Palmeiras in their 4-1 league win against Vasco da Gama on Sunday, and his coach, Abel Ferreira, addressed the speculation in his post-match press conference.
Palmeiras coach warns over price
Ferreira, quoted by Manchester Evening News and Sports Mole, said: "These teams want a player like Allan because 90 per cent of wingers don't do what he does, which is attack and defend. They're going to have to pay. I know how Manchester City plays."
He added, according to Manchester Evening News: "At Chelsea, there's a player named Pedro Neto: if they want to go after him, they're going to have to pay 100 million euros. Top teams don't buy half a player, they buy players who attack and defend... everyone wants that kind of player. But you have to educate them, develop them and, if necessary, lose a few games along the way."
The Independent reported that City were prompted to look for reinforcements after agreeing to sell Savinho to Tottenham for a club-record £85m, with Spurs also in talks about Omar Marmoush. Sports Mole reported the Savinho package as an initial £75m.

Allan has scored nine goals in 96 appearances for Palmeiras since joining the academy in 2019, according to Sports Mole, which also noted 12 assists and six goals in 2026 for the club, who top the Brasileiro Serie A.
If the deal is completed, Allan would become City's fourth first-team signing of the summer after midfielder Elliot Anderson, teenage winger Jeremy Monga, and backup goalkeeper Geronimo Rulli, as reported by Sports Mole. Anderson arrived for a club record £116m and started in the 2-1 win over Bournemouth, according to Manchester Evening News.
City have also agreed a fee for Lille midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi, reportedly worth £85.6m (€100m) per Sports Mole, or £85m (€100m) per Manchester Evening News. The Independent reported the deal at €100m. This week could see City spend around €140m, according to The Independent, which also noted the potential departure of Nico Gonzalez to Newcastle, possibly prompting a third midfield signing.
Manchester Evening News reported that several midfielders have left City, including Bernardo Silva, Rodri, and Tijjani Reijnders, while Nico Gonzalez and Mateo Kovacic are unfancied. The same report noted that City agreed to sign Bouaddi after "ultimately" paying what Lille wanted.
