A Second Celebration in Majorca
Molly Smith and Tom Clare, who met and won the first series of Love Island All Stars in 2024, have tied the knot for a second time. After courthouse nuptials late last month, the couple held a larger celebration over the weekend at Son Marroig, a clifftop 17th-century marble temple on the Spanish island, as reported by The Sun. The venue, described by The Tab as a traditional Mallorcan mansion that once belonged to Archduke Luis Salvado, reportedly cost around £10,000 for the ceremony.
In first photos from the event, Molly wore a strapless white gown with a long veil and was escorted down the aisle by her dad, while Tom wore a white tux and black bow tie. The couple were seen sharing a kiss and enjoying a glass of fizz after saying "I do," according to The Sun.
Guests and Festivities
The guest list included fellow Love Island stars Sophie Piper, Josh Ritchie, and 'Messy' Mitch with his girlfriend, as well as Casey O'Gorman, who served as best man, The Sun reported.
The celebrations continued the next day with a boozy breakfast, which Casey attended in a pair of Speedos and white sunglasses, fitting the white wedding theme. The Sun reported that Casey was filmed downing a jug of beer and later jumping on a guest's back, while Molly grimaced at his outfit in one photo. Tom later thanked the guests, with Molly by his side in a white embellished dress, and was met with cheers.
Anton Danyluk's Absence
Anton Danyluk, who appeared on All Stars with the couple, took to Instagram to explain why he was not at the wedding. He revealed that he had been invited but turned it down, citing his decision to stop drinking around the time of the invitation.
In his post, Anton wrote: "Tom and Molly got married yesterday. I wish I'd been there. Here's why I wasn't. At the start of the year I got invited. And it was an honour, because these two are genuinely my favourite people that came off the show. But I turned it down. And it wasn't an easy decision. Because at the time I was invited, I'd just made the decision to stop drinking."
He elaborated on his five months of sobriety, saying: "I went five months this year with no alcohol. And honestly, I felt amazing. But what I realised in those five months was that drinking was never really the problem. The problem was knowing when to stop."
Anton added that he now drinks on odd social occasions and said that if he "knew then what he knows now," he would have attended, accepting that it's about "the occasion" and "control." He explained that sometimes you have to say no to something you want to say yes to because "you have to look out for yourself first." He concluded with congratulations to the couple, saying he was "gutted" to miss it but "couldn't be happier" for them.
Mixed Reactions
Anton's explanation drew mixed responses. Some fans questioned whether his invitation was genuine, with one labeling the post "odd," as reported by The Sun. The Tab noted that people called Anton out for making the wedding about himself and for revealing the marriage before the couple's own announcement.
'Messy' Mitch commented on the post: "Give it a rest Anton pal, this is weird." The Sun reported that Mitch and Anton's relationship deteriorated during Love Island All Stars in 2024, after Anton confronted Mitch in the kitchen for making Liberty Poole cry twice in a week. Anton later wanted to settle the feud in the boxing ring, and the tension reignited when Mitch accused Anton of getting a "secret hair transplant" and threatened to "slap his head off."
However, some followers supported Anton's decision, with The Sun noting that others backed his choice.
