KVS NVS Tier-II Results for PGT Physics, Vice Principal, Stenographer Grade-II Released

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the Tier-II recruitment examination results for selected posts under the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) and Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS). The results were declared on August 23, 2026, as part of the ongoing recruitment process under Advertisement No. RECTT. NOTIFICATION/01/2025.

Posts Covered in the Latest Declaration

The latest result covers PGT Physics under the teaching category, along with Vice Principal and Stenographer Grade-II under non-teaching posts. This declaration is part of a phased release, with earlier phases listed on the recruitment portal from August 17 onwards. The Tier-II written examinations were conducted from March 27 to March 31, 2026, and final answer keys were issued in phases, with the first answer key release dated May 13, 2026. The overall recruitment drive covers more than 15,000 teaching and non-teaching vacancies across KVS and NVS.

How to Check Results

Candidates can check their result and shortlisting status (where applicable) by logging into the KVS-NVS recruitment application portal. They need to select the candidate login option, enter their registration number and password, complete the CAPTCHA, and access the displayed information.

Marks Availability and Next Steps

CBSE has clarified that the availability of Tier-II marks depends on the selection process prescribed for each post. For posts where an interview is part of the selection process, the current result indicates whether the candidate has been shortlisted for the interview. Marksheets for such candidates will be made available within 15 days of the declaration of the final result, after the interview process is completed. For posts without an interview, candidates can view their Tier-II marks through their application logins along with the result.

Candidates shortlisted for subsequent stages should follow the instructions issued for their respective posts, as selection stages vary—including interview, skill test, document verification, and medical examination. Those required to submit a preference can do so through their application portal. CBSE has advised candidates to exercise their preference within the stipulated deadline and to regularly check the official websites of CBSE, KVS, and NVS, along with their application logins, for updates.

Separate Declaration for EMRS

CBSE has also stated that results for the EMRS Tier-II Recruitment Examination will be declared separately through the official EMRS/NESTS website.
