Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan has given fans their first look at his recovery after undergoing knee surgery, sharing a characteristically lighthearted social media post. The injury occurred on August 18 while filming an action sequence for his upcoming sports drama with director Kabir Khan, according to multiple reports. Aaryan was admitted to Fortis Raheja Hospital in Mahim, Mumbai, and has since returned home to recuperate.

On Sunday, August 23, Aaryan posted a series of photos and videos on Instagram, his first public communication since the surgery. Additional clips appeared to show the actor training and running in preparation for the film.
In a playful nod to the common expression for wishing someone luck, Aaryan captioned the post: "Kabir sir said – Break a leg," as quoted by multiple outlets. Director Kabir Khan responded with a comment, "HaHaha Bhai Har baat itni seriously mat sunna karo," according to India Today.
Surgery Successful, Spokesperson Confirms
Aaryan's spokesperson provided an update on his condition, stating: "Kartik Aaryan sustained a knee injury while performing an action sequence on the set of his film.
