Curtis Discusses Relationship Tools
Jim Curtis, the boyfriend of actress Jennifer Aniston, recently discussed the couple's relationship during an appearance on the 'Jamie Kern Lima Show.' Curtis, 50, said that he and Aniston, 57, engage in "a lot of meditation" and "a lot of talk" to navigate the early stages of their relationship, which he described as being in a "honeymoon phase."
"I think that at different stages in your relationship, that different tools are really beneficial," Curtis said, as quoted by Page Six. He elaborated that in the honeymoon phase, "your tools don't have to be big sledgehammers," referencing meditation, acceptance, and understanding as key practices.
Curtis also shared that he and Aniston have been together for a year and a half. He praised Aniston as "so grounded and so open and caring and kind and loving," adding that he feels "incredibly blessed to be part and welcomed into that family." Us Weekly also reported Curtis's comments, noting his description of the relationship as "going really well."
Relationship Origins and Growth
The couple reportedly met through mutual friends, according to a source cited by Us Weekly. In a January episode of the 'Today' show, Curtis recounted how they began talking and eventually became close, as reported by Us Weekly. Aniston herself described Curtis as "quite extraordinary" in a November 2025 interview with Elle, adding that he is "very special, very normal and very kind."
Dating rumors first emerged last July when the pair were seen together on vacation in Mallorca, Spain, according to Page Six. They were joined by actor Jason Bateman and his wife, Amanda Anka, during a Fourth of July weekend yacht outing. Following the getaway, Curtis wrote in his newsletter about the "love" in his life, expressing gratitude for the "abundance, joy and love" he now experiences.
Circle of Friends and Future Plans
Aniston and Curtis have also been seen with Aniston's close friends. Us Weekly reported that the couple dined in Los Angeles with Aniston's 'Friends' costars Courteney Cox and Lisa Kudrow, as well as Bateman. A source told Us Weekly that Curtis "blends in seamlessly" with Aniston's group of friends, and that "Everyone who knows Jen is so happy for her." The source added, "They all think this is going to last and that Jim is The One."
The same report noted that Aniston was previously married to Brad Pitt from 2000 to 2005 and Justin Theroux from 2015 to 2018. A source told Page Six that the couple are "very, very happy" but have no intention of getting married, and that Aniston "never ever questions where she stands" with Curtis due to his devotion.
