A little girl from Arunachal Pradesh, who recently went viral after speaking about being called “Chinese” by strangers, has shared a heartwarming update. In a new video, she excitedly tells her mother that people on Facebook are calling her “India” and “India ka baby.”
The video, which has won hearts online, shows the girl happily telling her mother, “Mummy, abh hum Indian hogaye.” When her mother asks her to repeat, she says it again, and her mother explains that people on Facebook are referring to her as “India ka baby.” The girl agrees enthusiastically, replying, “Yehi, yehi.”
The exchange ends with her mother asking her to thank everyone who has been supporting her. The girl then says, “Thank you, thank you bhai sahab, sabko. Jo bhi humko like kar rahe hain, hamare mummy-papa, mummy-mami ko like karega, hum bhi.”
Her innocent response has struck a chord with social media users, especially because it follows her earlier video that drew attention to the insensitive treatment faced by people from the Northeast.

Tinkle Gogo, the girl from Arunachal Pradesh, had first gone viral after requesting people in mainland India not to label Northeasterners as “Chinese.” In that clip, which was posted on the Instagram account (@karga_tinkle_gongo), she folded her hands and said, “Aap logon ke humein Chinese bolne se hum log bahut gussa hote hain, bahut dukhi hote hain. Please humko aise na bolo… Humko India bolo.” (When you call us Chinese, we get angry, we get sad. Please don’t call us this, call us India(n).)
New video shows gratitude
In the new clip, she is seen happily saying, “Abhi hum India ho gaya. Thank you, thank you sabhi ko.” She can also be seen jumping with happiness, expressing gratitude for the overwhelming support she received online.
