HP TET June 2026 results declared

The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) has announced the results of the Himachal Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (HP TET) for the June 2026 session. Candidates can now check their scores on the official website, hpbose.org, by entering their roll number or application number.

According to the result details, 32,531 candidates had registered for the session, of whom 29,900 appeared for the examination. A total of 6,744 candidates qualified, taking the overall qualifying percentage to 22.56% across the 10 subject categories, as reported by both Times Now and The Times of India.

The examinations were conducted between June 7 and June 21, 2026, in morning and evening shifts at various centres across Himachal Pradesh.

Category-wise pass percentages

Among the teaching categories, Special Educator TET for Classes VI to XII recorded the highest pass percentage at 93.18%, with 82 of the 88 candidates who appeared qualifying. The Pre-Primary to Class V category saw a 42.50% pass rate, with 136 candidates clearing the exam.

JBT recorded a 52.17% qualifying rate, with 4,369 of 8,374 candidates passing. In TGT Non-Medical, 969 out of 5,067 candidates qualified, a 19.14% pass percentage. TGT Hindi saw 314 of 2,013 candidates qualify (15.60%), while TGT Sanskrit had 205 of 1,296 candidates pass (15.82%).

Urdu TET recorded a 50% pass rate, with 2 of 4 candidates qualifying, and Punjabi had 8 of 71 candidates pass, a 12.68% rate. Among the larger candidate groups, TGT Arts saw 497 of 9,647 candidates qualify (5.15%), and TGT Medical had 161 of 3,020 candidates pass (5.33%).

Result preparation and certificate access

The results were prepared using the final answer key, after subject experts reviewed objections raised by candidates against the provisional key, as HPBOSE explained.

Qualified candidates can access their certificates through DigiLocker. The HP TET is an eligibility test for teaching posts in Himachal Pradesh, and qualifying does not guarantee appointment.
