Variety reported that the event would offer 27 minutes of new content, all captured from in-game footage on PlayStation 5. That duration varies in other reports: Manchester Evening News cited a figure of up to 20 minutes based on a report from Vice. Rockstar has not officially confirmed the length, and the company's own messaging promises only an "extended look" at the game.
The special arrives after a lengthy quiet period for the franchise. BBC reported that it was the first substantial footage since the last official glimpse more than 18 months ago.
