Chick-fil-A debuts Chicken & Waffles on limited-time fall menu
Chick-fil-A has introduced a limited-time fall menu featuring Chicken & Waffles, a first for the chain in its 80-year history. The new item is available all day in both breakfast and entrée sizes, and is joined by two S'mores-flavored beverages.
The fall menu launched nationwide on Aug. 24, according to two reports. The dish features a Chick-fil-A chicken filet between two maple-flavored waffles, topped with three strips of applewood-smoked bacon and honey butter, served with a side of classic syrup. Customers can choose between Original, Spicy, or Grilled filet. Unlike the classic chicken-and-waffles dish, this version is in sandwich form, similar to a McDonald's McGriddle, as reported by one outlet.
In a statement, Allison Duncan, Chick-fil-A's Director of Menu and Packaging, said, "In this year of Newstalgia-inspired celebrations, we wanted to bring something unique this fall by reimagining the comforting flavors our Guests crave this time of year, delivering a taste that feels both familiar and new to appeal to all ages." She added that the menu items were well-received in test markets, building excitement for the wider launch, as noted by one report.
Menu details and pricing
The Chicken & Waffles item is available as a breakfast sandwich during standard breakfast hours from opening until 10:30 a.m., and as an entrée from 10:30 a.m. to closing time. The breakfast sandwich starts at $4.95, while the entrée starts at $7.59, though prices vary by location.
Complementing the sandwiches are two S'mores-inspired drinks. The S'mores Milkshake blends Chick-fil-A's signature Icedream dessert with chocolate shortbread and graham cracker crumbles, marshmallow-flavored syrup, and marshmallow-flavored whipped topping. The S'mores Frosted Coffee is made with cold-brewed coffee, marshmallow-flavored syrup, and Icedream mixed with chocolate shortbread and graham cracker crumbles.
Context and availability
The new menu is part of Chick-fil-A's "Newstalgia" celebrations for its 80th anniversary, which will continue throughout 2026. The company has described the initiative as serving up "beloved classics alongside fresh new twists," as reported by one outlet. The fall menu items are available for a limited time at locations nationwide.
In Florida, where nearly 300 Chick-fil-A locations operate, the chain also opened a ghost kitchen in Miami in June for delivery orders only. Texas, with about 525 locations, has the most Chick-fil-A restaurants in the U.S., according to one report.
