Dua Lipa on her ‘magical’ wedding to Callum Turner
Popstar Dua Lipa has said her wedding to actor Callum Turner was “magical” and shared the two pieces of advice she received that helped make the big day so special.
The 31-year-old singer tied the knot to the One Night Only actor at a small ceremony in London’s Old Marylebone Town Hall in May, before having a three-day second wedding in Sicily, Italy. Following the ceremony, the couple travelled through Italy for their honeymoon, with the singer documenting a few stops on her Instagram, including snapshots through Sicily, the Amalfi Coast and Rome.
Lipa told Vogue Italia: “The day of the wedding was magical. We received a lot of advice but decided to follow just two: live the day as if we were guests too, and to constantly look for each other among the crowd without ever losing sight of each other. This way we really have a lot of memories together.”
Turner and Lipa have been in a relationship since January 2024. The English-Albanian singer announced their engagement, after speculation online, in an interview with British Vogue in June 2025. Earlier this month, Turner described his wedding to Lipa as the “most beautiful day of my life” in an interview with Esquire UK.
The wedding came months after the singer wrapped up her Radical Optimism world tour, which included her debut show at London’s Wembley Arena. “I want a life that is full but not busy,” Lipa said. “I am really good at striking a balance between work, my hobbies and my family. Nothing has ever stopped my ambition and I’m really lucky to be with a person who loves working as much as I do. We understand and support each other. Besides, when I am not on tour and I’m writing and recording, I can be anywhere in the world. I feel at home wherever Callum is.”
During the world tour, Lipa surprised fans in Milan and sang a rendition of Raffaella Carra’s hit song, A Far l’Amore Comincia Tu. The choice to sing the beloved song – in Italian – is something she never would have done years ago because she was too much of a perfectionist, she said. “But that’s a side of me I left behind in my 20s,” she told Vogue Italia.
Lipa also spoke about how she has learned to forgive herself and the energy she inherited from her parents, especially her mother. “I’ve learned to forgive myself, and I’ve inherited a lot of energy from my parents, especially from my mom,” she said.
The singer, who has 88.6 million Instagram followers, also opened up about her approach to social media. “I’m very clear about what to share on social media and what to keep to myself. When I don’t post anything for a few days, I sometimes get a bit of ‘posting anxiety.’ So, I just pick the photos I like best and post them without overthinking it. I hit publish, close the app and forget about it,” she said.
Lipa rose to fame in 2016 following the release of her hit “Be The One” and later with her 2017 single “New Rules.” She has won several Brit Awards and three Grammys. After releasing her third studio album Radical Optimism in 2024, she headlined Glastonbury Festival.
Turner, known for starring in the drama The Capture and a film adaptation of Jane Austen’s Emma, stars in the romantic comedy One Night Only alongside Monica Barbaro and the 2024 drama series Masters of the Air.
Reflecting on her relationship, Lipa said she wants to discover what happens when you actually find love. “I want to discover what happens when you actually find love,” she said.
