Firefighters in Santa Ana rescued a dog named Agusta and transported one person to a hospital after a house fire Monday afternoon, according to the Orange County Fire Authority.
The fire was reported to the Orange County Fire Authority, and crews arrived at the scene around 4 m. on West Fight Avenue, as reported by the Santa Ana Orange County Register. Firefighters confined the flames to the garage, preventing them from spreading to the rest of the home, according to the OCFA. The Santa Ana Orange County Register reported that the blaze was contained within five minutes.
Firefighter paramedics treated one patient at the scene and transported that person to a hospital, as reported by USA Today, the Ventura County Star, and the Santa Ana Orange County Register.
