Weather Disrupts Delhi Flights; Airlines Issue Advisories

Adverse weather conditions and heavy rains in Delhi disrupted flight operations to and from the national capital on Monday, prompting Air India, IndiGo, and SpiceJet to issue travel advisories asking passengers to check their flight status before heading to the airport.

Airlines Respond to Weather Woes

Air India warned that adverse weather conditions "may impact" flight operations to and from Delhi and urged passengers to check the latest flight status before heading to the airport. IndiGo also confirmed that bad weather over Delhi had affected its flight schedules and said it was closely monitoring the situation. The airline advised passengers to check their flight status on its website or app and recommended allowing extra travel time due to possible slower road conditions. SpiceJet similarly warned that bad weather in Delhi could affect all departures and arrivals, including consequential flights.

Delays and Diversions at IGIA
