The Cincinnati Bengals are signing defensive end Isaiah Foskey to their practice squad, according to multiple reports cited by the Cincinnati Enquirer. Foskey, who played in eight games during the 2025 season—his first with the Bengals—shared a fourth-quarter sack of Bears quarterback Miller Moss in the team's second preseason win, alongside rookie Landon Robinson. He was elevated from the practice squad to the active roster for Week 7 of the 2025 season, when Trey Hendrickson was inactive.
Foskey was among 11 players the Bengals announced on Monday as practice squad signings, a day after the team finalized its 53-man roster. The Bengals' announcement listed the following players: running back Kendall Milton, quarterback Sean Clifford, defensive end Foskey, linebacker Shaka Heyward, running back Kentrel Bullock, defensive tackle Howard Cross III, linebacker Joe Giles-Harris, defensive back Bralyn Lux, wide receiver Jordan Moore, wide receiver Noah Thomas, and safety Russ Yeast. The team also reported that defensive end Garmon Randolph is being added to the squad, according to reports referenced by the Enquirer.
The practice squad's 11 announced signings left the Bengals five shy of the 16-player limit. Sports Illustrated reported that the team expects to add tight end Tanner Hudson on Tuesday. Hudson was on the initial 53-man roster but was cut after the Bengals won a waiver claim for offensive tackle Myles Hinton, a former Philadelphia Eagles player, according to Sports Illustrated. The outlet noted that the Bengals chose to cut Hudson rather than expose one of their final two roster players—cornerback Josh Newton or offensive lineman Jacob Bayer—to waivers, allowing them to bring Hudson back more easily.
Sports Illustrated also reported that all 30 players the Bengals waived on Sunday cleared waivers, giving the team its pick of whom to bring back. However, tight end Cam Grandy, who played in 13 games with seven starts for the Bengals last season, signed with the Minnesota Vikings' practice squad on Monday, and wide receiver Mitch Tinsley signed with the Houston Texans, according to the outlet. Sports Illustrated characterized Foskey, Giles-Harris, and Heyward as high-priority re-signings, and noted that the running backs were also prioritized given that the team kept only three on the 53-man roster.
The Bengals' practice squad moves come as the team finalizes its roster after the preseason. Foskey, who joined the Bengals in 2025, will look to build on his contributions from the previous season, including his role in the defensive line rotation when called up from the practice squad.
