Ukrainian Woman Suspected in Monaco Bomb Attack Found Dead

She was wanted for attempted murder, placing an explosive device in a public place with criminal intent, and criminal conspiracy, as stated in the notice. Prosecutors in Monaco believed she was linked to an attack targeting Vadym Yermolaiev, a Ukrainian-born Cypriot citizen who had faced sanctions from Kyiv since 2023, reportedly concerning his business interests in Russian-occupied Crimea.

In the attack last Monday, Yermolaiev, his partner, and his son were wounded. The incident shocked the principality, known as a tax haven and retreat for the wealthy, and was described by Prince Albert II as "an odious act."

Berezovska was identified by prosecutors, who initially mistook her for a man. They noted she was a German speaker and had a tattoo on her arm. She was believed to have crossed into France on foot and then traveled to Germany by car via several countries, including Italy.

German authorities confirmed that Berezovska had a rented apartment in Frankfurt, which they searched.

Ukrainska Pravda, citing law enforcement sources, reported that the other suspect in Berezovska's killing was a former law enforcement official.
