Actress Bhagyashree recently opened up about her early experience of motherhood, revealing that both of her deliveries were by caesarean section. In a new Instagram video, she shared her journey and offered advice on rebuilding core strength after childbirth.

Bhagyashree, who has two children with her husband Himalaya Dasani — son Abhimanyu Dassani and daughter Avantika Dassani — said she became a mother at a young age. She admitted that at the time, she didn’t know she should exercise after becoming a mother.

“When I became a mother, I was very young. At that time, I didn’t even know that I should exercise after becoming a mother. Both of my deliveries were by caesarean. After having a caesarean, everyone said that now the body will not change. The stomach will definitely break. The weight will increase. But it’s not like that,” Bhagyashree said in the video.

The video, shared as part of her recurring #TuesdayTipsWithB series, focused on core-strengthening exercises and returning to physical activity after childbirth. Bhagyashree demonstrated three exercises, each targeting different areas of the abdomen, with the aim of building a stronger, more functional core.

“Not all core exercises work the same muscles. These 3 focused exercises target different areas of your abdomen for a stronger, more functional core. Even after a C-section, you can start working on rebuilding your core and getting it back into shape once you’re ready,” she wrote in the caption.

Bhagyashree also addressed the common perception that women cannot work on their fitness after undergoing a C-section. She said exercise can be part of the recovery process once a woman is medically cleared to begin.

“Today’s three exercises were to strengthen and tighten these muscles. Despite being a caesarean, you can exercise. Just ask your doctor when you can start,” she added.

The post drew supportive comments from followers, with one writing, “Thank you so much, ma'am, such healthy exercise tips,” and another saying, “Very beautiful suggestion, good message women healthy.” A third follower praised Bhagyashree’s fitness and appearance, commenting, “Tuesday tips are always useful, and you are not ageing even for a day.”

Bhagyashree was most recently seen in the Hindi fantasy adventure filmThe Great Grand Superhero: Aliens Ka Aagman, which hit theatres on May 29, 2026. Before that, she appeared as Jijabai in the historical action dramaRaja Shivaji, released on May 1, 2026.

Her son Abhimanyu Dassani made his Bollywood debut with the filmMard Ko Dard Nahi Hota, while her daughter Avantika Dassani began her acting career with the web seriesMithya.
