Early morning response in Bacchus Marsh

Homicide Squad detectives are investigating the death of a woman at a house in Bacchus Marsh, west of Melbourne, after emergency services were called to a property on Connor Street just after 3:30am. A woman, who is yet to be formally identified, was found dead inside the house, according to reports from ABC Australia and nine.com.au.

A 75-year-old man was arrested at the scene. He was taken to hospital under police guard for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, both outlets reported.
