Drone Strike on Russian Port City Kills One

A Ukrainian drone attack on the southern Russian city of Tuapse killed at least one person and wounded another early Monday, regional authorities said. It was the second strike on the city's port in less than a week.

"Tuapse has again been subjected to a massive drone attack. According to preliminary data, one person was killed near the seaport," Veniamin Kondratyev, governor of the Krasnodar region that includes Tuapse, wrote on his Telegram channel. He said another person was wounded and was receiving medical assistance.

The governor said a fire broke out at the seaport following the attack, and that drone debris shattered windows in a school, a kindergarten, a museum, a church, an apartment building, and also damaged a gas pipeline. Emergency crews were working at the scene.
