The Telangana Legislative Assembly session will commence on September 7, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy announced on Monday during a meeting with ministers and ruling party legislators at the State Secretariat. The Chief Minister informed MLAs about the session's start and reviewed constituency-level developmental works, directing legislators to focus on local issues and fast-track ongoing infrastructure projects.
During the meeting, Reddy issued directives to expeditiously complete pending land acquisition for irrigation projects across their respective segments. He cautioned that irrigation projects would face indefinite delays if land acquisition was not completed in a time-bound manner. To prevent execution bottlenecks, the Chief Minister assured lawmakers that the government would ensure sufficient fund allocation for land acquisition, Relief and Rehabilitation (R&R) packages, and forest clearance processes.
