The alumni association of Pai Chai High School in Seoul has formally requested that the Korea Baseball Softball Association (KBSA) reconsider its six-month suspension of the school's baseball team, imposed after players directed insensitive trash talk at opponents during a national tournament.

In a statement read by association president Kim Dong-yeon at the KBSA headquarters in Seoul on Friday, the alumni asked the governing body to show leniency, according to Yonhap News.
