Three-time Grammy Award winner Ricky Kej has announced a multi-city India tour, 'DAMROOH – Dance To The Cosmic Spirit', scheduled to run from October 2026 to December 2026. The tour, produced and promoted by live entertainment company Wizcraft, will visit Bengaluru, New Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad and Chennai, as reported by several outlets including ANI, CNBC TV18, Deccan Chronicle and NewsBytes.

Kej described the tour as a deeply personal project, saying in a statement, "Damrooh is not a concert, it is a heartbeat. The Damaru has always represented the primal pulse of creation, and I wanted to build an entire world around that rhythm — one where orchestral music, nature and technology speak the same language. This tour is deeply personal to me, and doing it in support of UNICEF, alongside artists who have shaped my own musical journey, makes it even more meaningful. I can't wait to bring Damrooh home to India."

In a social media post on Instagram, he wrote, "A celebration of nature. A tribute to life. A journey into the energy that connects us all. Hear the universe. Feel the rhythm. Experience DAMROOH."

Tour Schedule and Venues

The confirmed schedule includes a performance in Bengaluru at Terraform Arena on October 31, 2026, New Delhi NCR at Leisure Valley Park on November 28, 2026, and Mumbai at MMRDA Grounds on December 5, 2026. Dates and venues for Ahmedabad and Chennai have not yet been announced, according to CNBC TV18.

The tour is expected to attract an aggregate audience of over 30,000 attendees, as reported by Deccan Chronicle. Tickets are now live on the platform District, with additional information available on the official DAMROOH website.

Concept and Production

Kej, who made history as the first artist of Indian origin to top the US Billboard New Age Chart, said the tour was inspired by the primal rhythm of the Damaru, a traditional drum. Describing the experience, he said it would combine symphonic orchestral music, indigenous world sounds, visuals, light and technology.

The stage design, according to NewsBytes, will function as a "living instrument" structured across five cosmic forces: orchestral instrumentation, indigenous world sounds, global voices, electronic textures, and nature. The setlist will include reimagined versions of Kej's signature works alongside original compositions.

Sam Panchmukhi, National Creative Mentor at Wizcraft, said, "Damrooh reflects everything Wizcraft stands for as a live entertainment powerhouse, a show built to move audiences emotionally, not just visually. Ricky's vision demanded an entirely new production language for the Indian arena circuit."

Deccan Chronicle added that the production will feature rare instruments including the Kora, Hang Drum, Sarod and Didgeridoo, and that an elite roster of global guest artists will join Kej onstage, with names to be announced later.

Background and Support

Kej is a three-time Grammy Award winner, a Padma Shri recipient, a Guinness World Record holder and a UN Goodwill Ambassador, as noted by Deccan Chronicle. The entire tour will run in support of UNICEF, reflecting Kej's longstanding humanitarian and environmentalist work.

Wizcraft, described as a live entertainment company, is producing and promoting the arena tour across six Indian cities. The first show is set for Bengaluru on October 31, 2026.
